Penny Monogiou
Penny Monogiou (*1989) studied painting at the School of Fine Arts in Athens from 2007 to 2012. She moved to Hamburg in 2013. In 2018, the artist received the LIA residency scholarship at the Baumwollspinnerei Leipzig. Her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions, in museums and galleries internationally, including in Cyprus, Greece, Germany, France and Turkey. The artist’s works are part of private and public collections. She lives and works in Hamburg, Germany.
Honours
since 2018 part of the collection of the Municipal Gallery Limassol, Cyprus
since 2012 Her sculpture “Through Time” is part of the permanent exhibition of Eleftherios Venizelos Airport in Athens Greece.
2011 she received the 1st prize for the Student Biennale of Greece
