Apostolos Karakatsanis

Apostolos Karakatsanis was born in Germany in 1970. He holds a degree in sculpture and in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts. His visual work has been presented in collective events in Greece, abroad and in individual exhibitions at AD and DL galleries. His work relates to issues of the image through visual misinterpretations of the modern and the problematic surrounding the concept of the minimalist object. He has presented his work in solo exhibitions in AD Gallery and the DL Gallery, Athens, as well as in group exhibitions such as ‘During the eclipses art mates ‘, CAMP Zoo/Aegeanale, Mykonos/Tower-tower, Bazeou Tower, Naxos/Nightwatch, TAF/the island, Cosmos of Culture/Emergency Room/Kodra Festival/Serendipia: Del Pop Art al Expresionismo Figurativo, Galeria Ektectica, Madrid, Back to Athens.
