Artist Statement

My participation was a trilogy of ceramic sculptures in which I aimed to combine elements of my personal painting with the traditional motifs of Ikaros ceramics. The symbols, hidden messages and humorous allusions that I use in my work were mixed with animals, boats and rivers of Ikaros
Studying the themes of the factory over the years, I chose three sections that are performed amusingly on the three ceramics with feminine references that I had built.
In the "Icarian Sea", the famous boat of Ikaros floats among the breasts of women in which little fish jump around, Greek flags hang and octopuses bask.
